Trial Lessons are conducted from Goodwood Aerodrome most days of the week. Each Trial Lesson comprises a full and comprehensive pre-flight briefing to explain the basics of helicopter flight and the effects of the controls followed by either 20, 30 or 60 minutes of actual flight time alongside one of our highly experienced instructors, during which time the student will be invited to take the controls under the close supervision of an experienced instructor and experience the joys of helicopter flight first hand!
Trial Lessons are conducted in a Robinson R22 helicopter, which carries two people – the instructor and the student.
All you need to do once you receive your voucher is contact the office on 01243 530165 to book your flight. On the day of the flight, come to Goodwood 10 minutes before your flight time, you will be introduced to your instructor – and off you go! We have a comfortable lounge with views across the airfield, so friends and family can come along and watch in comfort. Goodwood is a busy airfield, so there will be plenty of interesting things for them to see whilst you are airborne.
Vouchers are also available in Gift Boxes, which come nicely gift wrapped and contain your gift voucher, souvenir stickers, a Trial Flight Guide book and a teddy bear dressed in an Elite Helicopters T-shirt and flying jacket.
Vouchers are valid for nine months from the date of issue, and may be extended for a further six months on payment of an admin fee.
